ESSENTIA ANALYTICS ANNOUNCES SOC 2 TYPE 2 CERTIFICATION
Leader in behavioral analytics for professional investors meets stringent compliance framework and security standards
March 2, 2023 — London, New York — Essentia Analytics, the leading provider of behavioral data analytics and consulting for professional investors and allocators of capital, today announced that they have attained Service Organization Control (SOC) 2 Type 2 certification.
SOC 2 Type 2 certification provides independent validation that Essentia’s security controls comply with trust service criteria established by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). With this certification, Essentia maintains its adherence to one of the most stringent, industry-accepted compliance frameworks for service organizations and provides additional assurance to its clients, through an independent auditor, that its business process, information technology, and risk management controls are properly designed and operating as intended.
The official auditors’ report provides a thorough review of Essentia’s internal controls, policies, and processes for its behavioral analytics system, Essentia Insight. The report also reviews Essentia’s processes relating to risk management and subservice (vendor) due diligence, as well as Essentia’s entire IT infrastructure, software development life cycle, change management, logical security, network security, physical and environmental security, and computer operations. This examination was conducted by Dansa D’Arata Soucia LLP.
